This is a register of animals that have entered the Rockhampton City Council Pound within the last 72 hours. All care is taken to update this register, however if you are looking for a missing animal you should contact the Pound for detailed, current information.

All impounded animals are held at the Rockhampton City Council Pound for a minimum of 72 hours, however after this time animals may be re-homed. If your animal has been missing for more than 72 hours please contact the Pound as soon as possible.

If you are looking for a new dog, please contact us or visit us at the Quay Street Animal Pound during our opening hours.

The Pound is open between 7.00am-8.30am and 3.00-4.00pm on weekdays and between 7.00-10am on weekends and public holidays. (Closed Good Friday and Christmas Day.)
